Big Firm Experience. Small Law Values.
A Law Firm That’s more like George Bailey than Mr. Potter
What We Do Differently
- Conduct an early and aggressive case assessment based on YOUR goals defined at the outset of EVERY new matter to avoid inefficiencies that can result in excessive billing
- Provide YOU with a realistic assessment of whether certain action (like filing a demurrer, motion to dismiss or engaging in a costly discovery dispute) will advance YOUR goals at every step of the litigation—if they don’t then we don’t do them unless YOU specifically ask us to do so
- Do whatever is necessary to make YOU a client for life
But don’t just take our word for it, we’ve been blessed with great client relationships and many of these clients would be pleased to tell you about their experiences with us. Feel free to ask us for a reference.
A Trusted Adviser
Not so long ago, Abraham Lincoln encouraged lawyers to:
“Discourage litigation. Persuade your neighbors to compromise when you can. Point out to them how the nominal winner is often a real loser—in fees, expenses, and a waste of time. As a peacemaker, the lawyer has a superior opportunity of becoming a good man. There will always be enough business.”
Unfortunately, most attorneys do not heed President Lincoln’s advice. They have lost sight of their role as a trusted advisor, putting their own needs and wants ahead of what is best for their clients.
Not Savage Day. We still remember that it’s the client’s case, not ours.
And the client comes first. Period. End of story.
